Bees on the Lemon Tree
We bought a small Meyer Lemon tree when we moved into our apartment just over a year ago. Wildflowers in the City
There aren’t many places where dogs can run free off-leash here in the city, but Emmy and I discovered a small space between a nearby park and the railway tracks that’s somewhat out of view. It’s on a steep incline, and full of weeds, so I don’t think anyone minds that we are running free

Pike Place Market, Seattle
When we arrived in Seattle on Friday afternoon, the market was just ending for the day. There were still a few stalls with things in them, and the restaurants were open, and a few stores, so it was actually a great time to take some photos of the buildings.

Beach House Weekend {and a dairy-free, gluten-free cheesecake}
Shane and I were very generously invited by a friend to spend the weekend at a beach house in Lincoln City, Oregon. It was her birthday, as well as two others’, so she rented the house as a special treat, and invited several of her friends to celebrate.

Happy Holidays!
I’ve been playing around with some fun filmmaking techniques, so I thought I would make my holiday greeting this way this year. This was made using what’s called the stop motion animation technique (something which I obviously need a lot more practice at!). The music is Shane playing Tchaikovsky’s ‘Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy’.
