This afternoon, Shane attended a business meeting at the Elk Cove Vineyards through the company he works for (the vineyard is one of the company’s clients). The vineyard is located about one hour away from Portland in picturesque rolling countryside.

Wildflowers in the City
There aren’t many places where dogs can run free off-leash here in the city, but Emmy and I discovered a small space between a nearby park and the railway tracks that’s somewhat out of view. It’s on a steep incline, and full of weeds, so I don’t think anyone minds that we are running free

Pike Place Market, Seattle
When we arrived in Seattle on Friday afternoon, the market was just ending for the day. There were still a few stalls with things in them, and the restaurants were open, and a few stores, so it was actually a great time to take some photos of the buildings.

Beach House Weekend {and a dairy-free, gluten-free cheesecake}
Shane and I were very generously invited by a friend to spend the weekend at a beach house in Lincoln City, Oregon. It was her birthday, as well as two others’, so she rented the house as a special treat, and invited several of her friends to celebrate.
