1cupof fresh squeezed orange juiceor not from concentrate
¼cupof sugarI use organic raw cane sugar or coconut palm sugar but any sweetener would work
fruit of choicesuch as oranges, lemons, grapefruit, cherries, peaches, grapes, etc...
Instructions
Remove the skin and pith from your citrus fruits (I find they can make the sangria bitter if it sits for longer than a couple of hours) and slice, then cut the slices into quarters.
Place this citrus fruit in the bottom of a large pitcher. Add sugar and cherry brandy, and slightly mash with the fruit.
Let stand until sugar has dissolved, stirring occasionally.
Add orange juice and wine and gently stir. Add other chopped/pitted fruit and stir. Serve over ice.
